(UK) was founded in 1891, and run by the Jennings family, Phoenix Engineering is the UK’s oldest and largest manufacturer of Road Construction and Maintenance Plant and Equipment with worldwide network of dealers in over 40 countries. They have exported their equipment to places as diverse as Vietnam, Laos, the West Indies, Nepal, India, Mongolia, Japan, as well as Western Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East.
Their products include a comprehensive range of road surfacing equipments such as Chipping Spreaders, Bitumen Distributors, Bitumen Sprayers, Bitumen Tanks and Tankers, Asphalt Hotboxes, Small Mobile Asphalt Plants.
The Phoenix Engineering Company Limited was established in 1891. With experience of more than a century, it offers complete range of high quality road surfacing and maintenance equipment. The company quickly earned reputation of leadership in the design and production of Road Surfacing and repairing machinery with its products being used in over 140 countries for laying and maintaining worldwide network of roads.
Phoenix’s production is geared towards ‘appropriate technology' which ranges from top of the range European specification equipment to very simple and easy to maintain one man contractor equipment, which are uniquely designed for optimum output.
In 1997 they won the Queen’s Award to Industry for Export Achievements and exports over recent years average at 65% of total sales. Phoenix continues to go from strength to strength as it nears its 109th birthday and is still run by descendants of the original founding families
