Almost three and a half decades ago, the foresight of the Salgaocar Group led to the setting up of Tungabhadra Minerals Pvt. Limited in Joint Venture with Government of Karnataka, for the scientific mining of the iron ore from the mineral rich State of Karnataka. Tungabhadra Minerals Pvt. Limited soon grew to become a well-established mining company widely regarded for its consistency and reliability. Tungabhadra Minerals Pvt. Limited has highly flexible HPDA plant, which can produce high-grade calibrated ore, sinter feed fines and pellet feed fines, if required. With capacity of 180 tons per hour, this totally indigenous plant is the only facility of its kind in India.
